Nora Cuppens-Boulahia is a Full Professor at École Polytechnique de Montréal. Her research interest includes formalization of security properties and policies, cryptographic protocol analysis, formal validation of security properties and threat and reaction risk assessment. Her current research topics include a posteriori access and usage control and traceability, intrusion detection and response, data fragmentation and security of web services. She has published more than 200 technical papers in refereed journals and conference proceedings. She is the French representative of IFIP TC11 “Information Security”. She has been involved in FP7 projects DEMONS and INTERTRUST and H2020 SuperCloud. She is a one of key members of the chair on cyberdefense of naval systems and the IMT Atlantique referent of the Chair “Cyber CNI”. She received the Oustanding Service Award from IFIP TC 11 in 2016 and the Outstanding Service Award from IFIP WG 11.3 in 2017. Nora Cuppens is the French side co-founder of the ASSET project of the French-German Academia, on the security of industrial internet of things.
