Paula Branco is an Assistant Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in the University of Ottawa since 2020. She holds a PhD in Computer Science and a degree in Mathematics, both from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto, Portugal. Her research interests are focused on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, KDD and Data Mining, and in particular in imbalanced domain problems, rare extreme values forecast, cybersecurity and privacy.
